Because every print is calibrated and produced on-demand at our Copenhagen and Stockholm workshops to eliminate paper waste, we enforce a strict 90-minute grace window from the moment of placement. Once paper allocation and pigment calibration commences, we cannot cancel or modify sizing. Please email contact@noirplate.com immediately with your order reference.

Your unique order number is printed on the upper right corner of your digital receipt, within the subject line of all automated dispatches (NP-XXXXXX), and permanently logged inside your NOIRPLATE client archive account.

Once our archival framers inspect and sign off on your shipment, an active carrier tracking link (DHL Express, PostNord, or FedEx Fine Art Priority) will be transmitted to your email. Tracking milestones typically register within 12 hours of courier collection.

In accordance with our Scandinavian sustainability manifesto, we do not pack commercial price sheets into print consignments. All parcels are curated as presentation-ready gifts with a stamped atelier certificate of authenticity. Financial receipts are delivered digitally.

No. NOIRPLATE operates on a strict DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) arrangement. The total calculated at checkout includes all local VAT, import tarrifs, and courier clearance fees. You will never receive an unexpected carrier customs bill.

We offer a complete 30-day return window from the day of package receipt. If an artwork does not harmonize with your interior space, lighting conditions, or wall proportions, you may return it in its original archival packaging for a full refund or atelier store credit.

To request a prepaid return voucher, email contact@noirplate.com quoting your order code and specify whether you prefer a replacement curation or monetary reimbursement. Our team dispatches printable return airway bills within 24 hours.

While our transit crating protocol prevents 99.4% of potential damages, courier accidents occasionally happen. If your parcel shows physical distress, simply snap 2–3 photographs of the box exterior and the affected print/frame, and send them to our team. We immediately rush-print and dispatch a brand new piece at zero cost to you.

Standard catalogue formats (30×40cm, 50×70cm, 70×100cm, etc.) are 100% eligible for standard returns. Bespoke custom-milled frames or tailor-cut canvas commissions cannot be returned for monetary refund, but can be adjusted or exchanged under curatorial review.

Once returned works arrive at our Scandinavian inspection depot and pass condition audit, funds are reversed to your original payment channel within 3–5 banking business days.

We use an exclusive 240g/m² certified museum-grade fine art cotton rag manufactured in Germany. Unlike commercial poster paper made from chemical wood pulp, our substrate is 100% acid-free, lignin-free, and contains zero artificial optical brighteners (OBAs).

Never use ammonia-based window cleaning sprays or dry paper towels, which can cause micro-swirl scratches. Lightly dampen an ultra-soft microfiber cloth with lukewarm water and a drop of neutral dish soap, and wipe with gentle linear strokes.

Always wash and completely dry your hands before unrolling prints to avoid transferring natural skin oils to the matte surface. Handle prints solely by the extreme outer white borders, or preferably wear clean white cotton curatorial gloves.

Prints can be hung in powder rooms with standard ventilation. However, in small bathrooms with unventilated, high-humidity shower vapor, natural cotton fibers can absorb excess moisture over time. For such environments, we recommend our sealed stretched canvas prints.
